Of course Iâm so excited for this milestone year for you but the mama in me wants you to just stay small forever! Youâve always been my little shadow from day one and to this day I love that you wonât let me go to sleep without coming to hug me, say you love me, and tell me âbenigh gujahâ….no one will get that because over the years weâve formed our own goofy words & language that only we know. Even our morning farewells to the bus are written in stone (& are a tad OCD) and I never miss a morning of telling you I love you because weâre both painfully aware of what life may throw at you and/or take away from you. Never ever leave or go to bed mad, and never skip the I love yous.â¤ď¸
Iâve loved having you as my travel partner  & west coast roomie as we explore LA đtogether or head the other direction to cross things off our bucket lists! You and I have such a special bond over so many of the same things, whether itâs oldies music and sitting VIP at concertsđ¤, chasing down antiques and vintage rock band t-shirts, finding the last place Janice Joplin or Mama Cass had coffee…..going on ghost hunts, testing out new foods, or trekking across the country all alone to explore new places. We have a shared love of the city, a longing for adventures, and the mutual contentment of the hermit life as well. âđťWhenever I hear the quote âstand up for what you believe in even if it means you stand aloneâ I think of you because thatâs a quote I live by and thatâs exactly how you are as well. Itâs ok to be the black sheep as long as youâre committed to what you stand for. Youâre the owner of an overly kind and giving heart and youâve learned the hard way, as I have, that the world doesnât always treat you the way you treat others, but youâre a much better person to be kind than to let someone or something force you to be something youâre not. Be a leader, not a follower, & when you follow your heart, always take your brain with you. You hold so many talents within yourself and youâll go far in life if you always remind yourself there are NO limits to what you can do. I pray Iâve shown you that. Iâm so incredibly proud of you and love each moment I get with you. You make me laugh like no one else (the grandpa Dan laugh đ) and I treasure my relationship with you more than I could find words for. Always remember having a weird mom builds character!! Soooo I think youâre good to go!! đ
Your brothers get to have the âmiddle of the night jump on your bed birthday wake upsâ because of their birth times but I have to do yours before school so I hope it sends you there this morning with a smile on your face and a giggle to get you through your day!!
